My Story
I have known several people who have had this disease and have seen the horrible suffering that they and their families have been through. My own mother battled with the disease in such a brave way without complaining to anyone. I never really appreciated what she did for me and really feel sad when I think of the sacrifices she made. The nurses that looked after her and everyone else are amazing and they really go out of thier way to care for others without expecting anything in return. I really hope that the people who are trying to find cures for these diseases are successful and are able to eliminate the suffering of others.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
