I'm taking part in the Race for Life in honor of my amazing Granda who is battling prostate cancer!

My Story

I am running the race for life in honor of my amazing Granda who inspires me everyday, such a fighter and always has a big smile on his face. Sadly, my Granda is currently battling with prostate cancer therefore I felt I couldn't sit around doing nothing so I decided to make a change and register to run the 5k race for life for the first time with my Granda in mind. I'm not a massive runner so this is a big challenge for me, I want to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK and to any other males who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
