My Story
Hi everyone, its Amelia. I have decided to run this 10K to show my support and my appreciation to these truly amazing and inspirational people battling cancer every day. Cancer is not here to take over someone's lives or to make their live miserable, I believe that it is here to make the strong stronger and to test people's inner strength! Many people will know or will of heard of someone diagnosed with cancer and the pain is truly horrifying, but when you experience you own pain that is going out to your loved ones, think about the pain they are feeling aswell. I believe that they are not alone and that everyone can do something to make a difference - so make a difference and help! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
