My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. After losing and knowing many people affected by cancer and recently losing a close friend of mine to cancer, I'm determined to raise awareness and money in order to fund the vital research needed to diagnose cancer earlier and help those in need! Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
