My Story

As you may know, in November 2019 I was diagnosed with a rare subtype of kidney cancer. It was the scariest few months of my life and I am forever grateful for my macmillan nurses and surgeons who all worked together to help me. This is why I’m choosing to do the Race for life 5K and would be thankful for any money donated! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
