My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My mum got diagnosed with Breast Cancer in August 2019. 2 Lumpectomies later she started Kemo and cancer has gone from Stage 4 to Stage 3 cancer research asked her to volunteer to have an extra test during her operation which helped find more cancer which was not detected on the mammogram. This has give my mum an extra 10 years on her life thanks to cancer research. My Auntie Vera died of cancer on the 24 December 2019. I’m also racing for my step fathers mother who sadly passed away of breast cancer.
