My Story
I am taking part in the race for life in memory of my daughters Grandad David. David has had a lengthy battle with cancer in his lifetime to which we all thought was the end until one minute he was in for a scan on his lung and the next minute we were told he only had months to live. David is the strongest man I’ve ever met, a hero to us all. Not only is my Mother in law growing old without her husband, my partner living his life without his step dad but my daughter Mya who David adored with all of his heart is growing up without her beloved Grandad. He fought so hard, even on his worse days he still sat on the floor, played with Mya and put a smile on for us all. We are so proud of you David and miss you everyday. Please help us raise money for Cancer Research to hopefully change this process in the future and stop other family’s going through what we are going through right now. We love you Dave x
