It's a constant battle until we find a cure to beat it :)
Hi, so I have thought long and hard whether I wanted to take part in some fundraising for cancer research. Don't know why it's took me this long to get involved! My beautiful aunt lost her battle with cancer and very sadly passed away in October and my partners Grandad also sadly passed away in December due to this horrible disease. Cancer is hard to deal with and come to terms with for those who have been diagnosed and also for their loved ones. My dad is also currently battling with lung cancer which has unfortunately began to spread around his body. He has gone through the stressful cycles of chemo, radiotherapy and immunotherapy treatments and has come a long way through this hard battle. Through his journey I have learnt that positivity is the key as he is a very positive upbeat person, the ammount of things he has been through recently is an inspiration to me and I'm sure when he finds out I'm doing this he will laugh his head off at me at first and take the mick until the day of the event lol. So I have decided I would like to get covered in mud and run to help raise some money to go towards and help fund the research into cancer in the hope that one day in my lifetime they will find the cure! Please support and donate to my page and join me on this journey to help try and beat cancer! Much appreciated :)
