My Story
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Cycle 300 page. This September, before the end of the month, I will complete 300 miles on my bike for Cancer Research UK. I will be pedalling harder than ever because I want to raise money for life-saving research and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Every penny makes a huge difference to vital cancer research so please show your support with a donation to my page. Cancer is happening right now, affecting one in two lives everyday, which is why we're fundraising for Cancer Research UK to help support those in need and find a cure sooner. We have decided to take part in the 300 mile challenge, cycling 300 miles each over September to particularly raise awareness of prostate cancer and the number of men under 60 who are diagnosed with the disease. We want to make people aware how severe the disease can be and encourage men to have their prostate checked (even if it seems daunting, it can save lives). Finding out that a close family member has been diagnosed with stage five prostate cancer is something life doesn't prepare you for, it doesn't seem real until they start treatment and you see how it impacts their everyday life. So, not only are we cycling to raise awareness, we are cycling to support Tony Gaffoor through his own cancer journey and his upcoming operation in September. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
