I've never been a runner but after taking on a 10,000 step challenge, turned couch to 5k, I made promise to myself to try and run a 10k in 2018. Last October, my hero, my Grandma Donna passed away after fighting Cancer. She is my reason for running. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
