Anne my Mum
My Story
This is our 10th year of racing for life since we lost my Mum to lung cancer. We continue with a lifetime mission of raisng £50,000 for cancer research in memory of Mum and so far have raised just over £20,000. Mum suffered a very aggressive form of lung cancer which she battled bravely and without complaint for 9 months before losing her fight too young. Cancer also touched our lives again this year when I was diagnosed with Skin cancer 2 months ago, this has made us all the more determined to try help Cancer Research. We hope our efforts go some way to helping find a cure for cancer and giving life and hope to those it touches. Please sponsor us with all our races for life and tough mudder challenge later this year.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
