My Story

Probably all of us know of someone who has been affected by cancer. I have lost not only friends and family to this vicious disease and have friends and family still battling it, I lost my precious dad to it in 2012, to this day has had such an impact on me. I also had my own scare earlier this year where it was thought I possibly had Ovarian Cancer leading to the removal of them pretty quickly - I was one of the lucky ones where it wasn’t but many aren’t so lucky. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. I will only be walking it this year but it all counts! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
