I’m taking part in this walk as many members of my family and friends know someone who has battled cancer and survived or who has died from cancer. Cancer is cruel and nasty and we need to do everything we can so more people can battle and win their fight against it. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives.
