My Story
I signed up to this race for life as I was roped in by my Niece (had had a few drinks), have always wanted to do a muddy challenge as it looks like fun and have been enjoying my running of late and wanted to push myself. Well, this R4L has so much more meaning now. My beautiful Dad, my rock just lost his fight and it has totally floored me. He was the nicest, most kindest, loyal and generous person you could ever meet, not a bad bone in his body. He was a fighter right until the end and I couldn’t be more proud to hold the title of his Daughter. He showed such bravery and courage through his journey and so I will cross that finish line with my head held high in memory of him. Love you Dad, always have, always will, your little girl xx
