To get fit and strong again after treatment
I had cancer and thanks to brilliant research and wonderful medical teams I am now well. However the recovery takes time and effort. Before I was ill I managed to run this complete race for the first time (no walking). I'm now training to get back to that level of fitness. I won't run all the way this year but will be able to run some of it. I'm also doing the Portsmouth 5k with an all female marching band - March for Life. Come and hear us play, see our corps of drums and cheer us along. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
