My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Plus 3 other good causes; MS Research, The Rosemary Appeal and Brighter Berkshire. The last 2 are local Berkshire charities raising funds for a new renal dialysis and cancer care unit in Newbury and a local initiative to help tackle rising mental health challenges. If going dry for just a month can help clever people give them hope for a brighter future it will be a small gesture on my part. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
