I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

My Precious "Pops"

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. My family was devastated by my husbands diagnosis on his 40th birthday. He fought very hard, and with the help of intense chemotherapy and stem cell transplant he is here today, fighting fit!
Unfortunately despite a very courageous hard fight, my precious dad died at the beginning of the first "lock down" in 2020. He was extremely brave and fought so so hard. We all miss him so much everyday.
The cancer services need our help, and my colleagues at Airedale hospital are all doing this race together.
