My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me. I never thought this would hit so close to home, but then who ever does? To be told your mum would be lucky to make it a month or see Christmas, after weeks of being ill and not knowing why, being diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that had spread to the brain causing her to loose her ability to walk and keep down food, in and out of hospital but still fighting every day for her childrens sake, never giving up once or showing weakness. She's always been there for us, always been our rock, through everything. But this time it's our turn to support and be there for her, to hold her hand through this fight even though inside we were all falling apart. Through every step from diagnosis to chemotherapy to radiation and seeing that she may now actually go in to remission, her lung rebuilding itself and almost every cell of cancer gone. Not everyone is lucky to win their fight, 4 years ago my Nan lost her fight with non Hodgkin's disease as so many still unfortunately do, so If I can help in aiding support so that someone else can have the amazing support, success and treatment that my mum was so lucky to receive I would do it every time. To help someone win their fight, to help give them and their families strength to keep battling, to everyone going through this fight, starting their fight, having fought or is supporting someone else in their fight this is for you 🙌🏻 together WE CAN walk all over cancer 💪🏻
