I have Breast Cancer and I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
On the 7th of March 2018 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What a life changing moment that was. Most peoples worst fear. I asked a couple of friends to join me doing the race for life. At the time it felt like the only positive thing that I could do. Never did I imagine that those couple of friends would grow into 80 amazing ladies that are walking/hobbling/jogging/limping their way around the coarse with me to not only support me but to support cancer research. Our group is called Bussom Buddies. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
