My Story
Myself, Tommy, Lisa (My sister-in-law) and Jamie (my nephew) are all running the 10k Race For Life on the 30th June to help raise money for Cancer Research. As most of you know my fabulous mum was diagnosed with Lymphoma in September 2018 and has had a rollercoaster ride so far with lots of complications along the way, however she is a tough cookie, and continues to remain positive and fights on with the love and support of my amazing Dad who looks after her so very well. We are running for my beautiful mum, my perfect Dad and for the millions of other people who are on the big C rollercoaster which includes my dear daft father-in- law, Terry who has ongoing treatment for Prostate Cancer which he was diagnosed with in 2015. He is doing fabulously and living life to the fullest. Tommy and Jamie are non runners but are going to give it there best shot, me and Lisa are amateur runners/plodders but will try our hardest to do our parents proud and burn some calories to make up the prosecco that will be drank later in the day!
