My Story

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. I’m one of the lucky ones. Preventative surgery meant it could be stopped before it took hold. Other friends have not been so lucky. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. I’m proud to work for NHS Blood & Transplant & am running as part of an NHSBT team. Many people who have treatment for cancer need regular blood transfusions. Two members of our team have battled cancer & are now thankfully in recovery. Without the work of Cancer Research they may not be here today. Please donate to this worthy cause. Thank you xx
