Only 2 weeks to go now until I attempt to run the 10k Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. Unfortunately I’ve just recovered from Covid which has scuppered my training program😏 so I have only succeeded in running 6.5k so far! However, I’m determined to complete the 10k and raise money for this very important cause. (I’m going to attempt an 8k run today). Amongst my family and friends alone six people have been diagnosed with cancer the past 10 years. Three have thankfully survived but three very sadly died. Shockingly, 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so I’d be very grateful for any donations you can make.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
