My Story
This October ten years will have passed since I lost my dad to cancer. It’s heartbreaking how much he’s missed out on in those years. I’ve missed celebrating the high points with him and the courage and support I know he’d have given me during the lows. My dad was kind, funny and such a patient and reliable person in my life. He taught me so much about what it means to be a good person. He would have made an amazing papa to Abigail and Finley, I wish they could have met him but they know he’s their angel watching over them. We all miss him every day. Cancer really has no mercy and brings devastation to so many families. Abigail and I will be running (and probably hopping, skipping and jumping) our way through 5k to raise some money in his memory for this amazing charity and the brilliant work they do 😊 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
