Alison's Race for Life
Glasgow 5k 2018
Sun 20 May 2018
I'm taking part for my Mum and Dad who are both Cancer survivers!
Last year my Dad and Mum were both diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. 1 in 14 men and 1 in 19 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime which is so alarming and that’s just one type! In their honour, and for others who have had any form of cancer, my sister Meg and I, and a group of our friends and family are running / walking a 5k on the 20th of May to raise funds for cancer research. Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. I know everyone’s always digging in to their pockets but every penny counts if anyone can spare any money! Let’s give cancer the boot!! Thanks very much in advance for your support! Team Buchanan xx
