I'm taking part in Race for Life because cancer is something which has affected our family
Starting to run again has been wonderful for me - my fitness, health and mood have all improved and now my wee sister is coming along for the ride! It was her idea to do Race for Life and we can't wait. It's such a good cause, cancer is something which has affected our family so it was a no-brainer. We're both training hard, hoping to do the 5k in a decent time and not shame ourselves! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
