My Story
Three years ago our whole world was rocked when we discovered my wonderful Dad had bladder cancer. Unfortunately his cancer was so advanced he had to undergo a gruelling operation and chemotherapy, which he took on with more courage and bravery than I could ever imagine having. Thankfully we were blessed that his operation and chemotherapy were successful and he is now living cancer free. Thanks to the work of cancer research my Dad has been given the gift of life, the gift of being here to see his grandchildren and watch them grow. Sadly not all families are as lucky as ours, so Eilidh and I have decided to take part in the Shine Night Walk to raise some money in the hope we can help other families who are affected by cancer be given the wonderful gift we have been given. We would greatly appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small, it all makes a huge difference to people’s lives. Thank you for taking the time to read our story ❤️
