We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. In the past 12 months this has been closer to my family and my friends than I would like. So... A group of us are trying to raise some money for this worthy cause. We're an odd group, 10 in number, old and young, fit and unfit, slim and not as slim as others. We are called 'The MIxed Bags'. Those who know me will expect me to complete the challenge - in my own way! We are simply aiming to get to the end in one piece, motivated by the ice cream van at the end. Any contribution of any size is most welcome. You can all be amused by the thought of us getting up on 9th July wondering why we signed up to this, trying to find some leggings that fit and a T Shirt that doesn't make our bums look big then trying to think of an excuse to cancel. The blame lies with Molly. My lovely daughter, who asked us all and none of us had a ready excuse to hand. She can pay for the private ambulance to get us home. And the ice cream. Thank you.
