About this event: On 10th October we will walk 10km locally to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We would really appreciate all donations for this amazing charity. Thank you so much for your support.😊 Information from Cancer Research UK 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime, which is why we’re absolutely determined to continue our life-saving cancer research. COVID-19 has slowed us down, but we’ll never stop. Help us save lives tomorrow by supporting us today and taking part in the 10/10/10 challenge organised by Relay For Life Peterhead. To take part all we ask is for a £10 registration donation to Cancer Research UK and if you would like to fundraise more, any further donations would be greatly appreciated in the fight against cancer! On the day: On Saturday 10th October 2020, we hope that individuals, groups, families and friends will join us in our first virtual 10K event wherever you may be! You can take part at any time of day, however you could choose to start at 10am or 10pm! Get involved: We would love you to share your challenge photos with us on Facebook by using hashtag #CRUK101010. We hope to return with the 10k Twilight Walk in Inverurie on Friday 7th May 2021. For those that would like to take on a bigger challenge, individuals who clock up 100K between now and the 7th May 2021 and raise at least £100 will be presented with a special medal.
