I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer

In memory of

Bernard Martin and in hope for my own life

12 Jul 1941 - 14 Jun 1988

Cancer has been a dreaded word for me since the age of 12 and my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am fighting lymphoma as we speak. I’m determined to do and finish this 5k and Tom is going to be right by my side. No one should have to think about their own funeral before the age of 50 because this disease is going to take their life. We aren’t aiming too high, we just want to do our bit. Will you help us?

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

We changed our goal to £300 as we quickly hit our first target. Thank you to everyone that gave and if you can help us, please do. I’m literally walking for my life and everyone this awful disease impacts.
