Cancer has been a dreaded word for me since the age of 12 and my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I am fighting lymphoma as we speak. I’m determined to do and finish this 5k and Tom is going to be right by my side. No one should have to think about their own funeral before the age of 50 because this disease is going to take their life. We aren’t aiming too high, we just want to do our bit.
