This is my way of giving a little something back.
My Story
I am personally so thankful for the amazing work carried out around cancer research. Without this research, my life would look very different right now! My diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in March 2016 came as a bit of a shock to say the least! However, research into this type of blood cancer means that it is now very manageable just by taking a tablet each day and life expectancy is pretty normal. Fifteen or twenty years ago it was a different outlook altogether! I feel very grateful to be fit and healthy enough to even consider walking 10.000 steps every day in March.
