Last year my best friend lost her mum to lung cancer, I’ve seen first hand what this disease does to a family. Not once did Maxine ever let it get her down though, she fought until the very end. For the most bravest, beautiful lady I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing, I’m doing this for you and your beautiful family, and we will be thinking of you the whole way through knowing you’re probably laughing at us all! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
