Ali's Race for Life
Salisbury 5k 2019

In memory of
I am running for my Dad and all those affected by cancer.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in my 3rd Race for Life 5k in Salisbury to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Paul my husband was one of those when in 1999 he was diagnosed with testicular cancer very shortly after we were married. This was a worrying time however, after successful treatment he is now clear after nearly 20 years. Life carried on with the usual ups and downs until following months of feeling unwell I received the news on 1st May 2012 I had oesophageal cancer. I was frightened however, I battled through the invasive treatment. In 2018 I was given the all clear and signed off. In 2017 I lost my father to prostate cancer which by then had developed into bone cancer. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. 🙂
