The Great Golf Challenge 2019
Hi guys Some of you will know that this has been an incredibly difficult few years for my family and I'm sure that plenty of you have been affected by cancer related illnesses too. I saw this challenge on Facebook and thought I'd do my bit to raise some funds, and drafted in a couple of recruits to help! On the 6th July 2019 myself and three of my chums (Oli, Sam and Geo) will be taking on the Great Golf Challenge, which is to play four rounds of golf in one day, no buggies allowed. We'll be starting at 6am, and then teeing off at 10am, 2pm and final round at 6pm, due to finish roughly at 9-9.30pm. It's going to one a tough old day but I'm looking forward to it! The rounds will take place at Wensum Valley, and I'd like to thank the lads for sponsoring Sam and Geo's green fees for the day. We will play the Valley course first, then two rounds back to back on the Wensum (harder course) before finishing on the Valley. I've set myself a target of £250, and if the four of us can raise that amount each then it'd be great to say we've raised over a grand for charity. We have a link to our group page and we are having a competition between us to see who can raise the most money - so you should be able to see all of our just giving pages that filter into the team pot. I'd really appreciate any donations, no matter how small, everything helps. Thanks in advance, much love.
