My Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page. We don’t know anyone with cancer so we do not have a story to share. We saw an advert on TV of stories of people doing race for life and felt inspired to get involved too. We will be doing this with our 2 year old daughter - she loves to run!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
