David Archer
My Story
My Grandad David passed away from blood cancer in January this year, 11 months after diagnosis. After years of fighting, my family friend Alison lost her battle with breast cancer in April last year. My mother in law Susan is currently suffering with stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to the brain. My dad Steve has melanoma skin cancer and has already undergone surgery to remove his lymph nodes. Cancer does not discriminate, it’s not fussy who it harms. 1 in 2 people living in the U.K. will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives. This is a statistic my family know all too well. Please help me in raising money for Cancer Research U.K. in the hope that one day there will be a cure for everyone fighting this disease.
