In memory of
My beautiful best friend Eve and my wonderful Nana
I am running in memory for my beautiful best friend Eve who was taken from us far too soon last year. Eve was the most wonderful, kind hearted person, she was so funny and clever, a truly one in a million friend. Our lives were crushed once we lost her, my darling Eve had a long battle with a rare cancer type called PAWS GIST. Eve was affected by the paediatric/adolescent GIST Cancer, which is more prevalent in young people, especially women. Tumours began to grow in her stomach. Eve’s wonderful mother Jayne, helped set up Gist Support UK; a charity for families and patients of the GIST cancer. During this time Eve continued with her life, she never let her cancer hold her back. Eve was accepted into Aston University in Birmingham, one of the top in the UK! And smashed her first year!!!... This year the university is awarding her degree in her memory. Eve took a turn for the worst and became very ill, last March Eve passed away. Everyone was truly devastated to have lost such a beautiful soul, but I am hoping that by running this memory in her honour and name we can keep her alive!l AND help other young people with cancer. I am hoping that with your help we can make a difference, please give what you can. Thank you
