My Story
I started running properly around the 2019 new year and this will be my first race! My short time at Addenbrookes has really reminded me that anyone can get cancer, how far transitional research has come and how much potential there is for the future. This work directly impacts breast cancer patient treatment and experience and even saves lives! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
