My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer sooner. In late 1998 my dad became unwell with jaundice. He was then diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which had spread to other parts of his body and was terminal. He passed away 27th April 1999. The survial rate for this cancer is 20%, as it goes undetected until its too late. Last year my Uncle (his in law) also passed away shortly after being diagnosed. More research is needed to help spot this cancer sooner!!! Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by sponsoring me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
