I'm fundraising to raise money for Cancer Research UK

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

My name is Alex Bosley, i am 15 years old and my grandfather has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The reason I have decided to set up a just giving page is because I am planning to organise myself a charity bike ride to Paris- from south Oxfordshire, in under 24 hours. My grandfather was the one who inspired me into cycling and he is the reason why cycling has become my main sport today. I am recognised as a promising young athlete with a great potential in becoming a professional cycling in the future, and without my grandfather I’m not sure whether I would be a cyclist. There are hundreds and probably thousands of cancer research fundraising events every year and I am just another individual adding to it. I ask you, from my very heart, to donate to cancer now and join our fight with them, this is not something you will regret.
