My Story
Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. My name is Alex Bosley, i am 15 years old and my grandfather has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The reason I have decided to set up a just giving page is because I am planning to organise myself a charity bike ride to Paris- from south Oxfordshire, in under 24 hours. My grandfather was the one who inspired me into cycling and he is the reason why cycling has become my main sport today. I am recognised as a promising young athlete with a great potential in becoming a professional cycling in the future, and without my grandfather I’m not sure whether I would be a cyclist. There are hundreds and probably thousands of cancer research fundraising events every year and I am just another individual adding to it. I ask you, from my very heart, to donate to cancer now and join our fight with them, this is not something you will regret.
