My Story
I watched the London Marathon the day before creating this page, and felt guilty for essentially having given up on charity runs after completing my first and only 5K race at the end of last year. I'm not quite ready for a marathon just yet, but I'm gradually working up to it one small race at a time. Last year I ran for Mind, but as I have quite a few friends who have worked with CRUK, and many more who have direct experience fighting cancer, I decided this should be my next step. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
