My Story
Our wonderful Dad, Pete, passed away from B Cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in his brain this summer, just 6 weeks after falling ill. I am, therefore, running this 5k to show some practical support for those fighting against this disease. Cancer is happening right now to our brilliant Dad and so many others, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. My lovely friend Cat is running with me and we would love for you to join us at Lee Valley on the 7th October. I'm not built for running but I'm blooming well going to try so we can raise as much money to support the work amazing doctors and nurses do every day. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
