My Story
I have had the pleasure of teaching a brave young girl called Marcie the last 2 years. She has battled a brain tumour for over a year and has finally reached the end of her gruelling treatment and looking forward to normal life. To help her celebrate I will be dedicating my run to her and all the other children we know that have fought and overcome cancer. Cancer Research have made phenomenal progress in recent years, which has led to positive outcomes for so many more people. We need to keep supporting them. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. My family has been regularly touched by cancer over the years. I hope one day that it will become a disease of the past. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
