Cancer affects nearly everyone at some point in their life, whether directly or indirectly - 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime which is so scary. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to the hugely important work that Cancer Research UK does. My grandma’s sister passed away in 2005 from cancer when she was 58 and I was 10. Even though I only spent a short amount of time with her, she was one of the kindest people I knew and she touched the hearts of every member of my family and anyone she met - we miss her more than anything. To help support Cancer Research, I am challenging myself to run the 10K Race for Life (anyone who knows me will know I hate running so this is a big deal 🙈) and doing this in memory of our beloved Aunty Anto.
