Each year, as part of its fantastic PE and Sports enrichment, Aldryngton Primary hold an annual Inter House Cross Country Event. This year we have decided to couple up with Race For Life to fundraise as much as we can for the amazing work they do, but also create an awareness amongst children of how to get active as well helping save lives. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life Schools to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
