Aimee's Race for Life at Home

Total raised
£510.00
+ £110.00 Gift Aid
For a few years now, ive taken part in the race for life in memory of family members who have sadly passed away from cancer and for family and friends who have fought hard to beat this awful disease. This year i'm so disappointed the Race for Life has been cancelled, but its for the best and I still wanted to take part. This year is different though, not only has it been an absolute shit storm for everyone, but it has been a bit of a personal battle too. Last month I was sadly diagnosed with a very rare form of blood cancer, this cancer in particular produces too many platlets in my blood causing me to be at risk for other health issues, the condition is a genetic mutation and there currently is no known cure. I'm hoping during this time I could focus on something positive, so I thought I could take part in the Race for Life at home and any donations to this amazing charity would be amazing! Stay safe ♥️♥️
