I have walked Race for Life for the past 5 years with my mum to raise money for Cancer Research UK. During lockdown I challenged myself to complete Couch to 5k with my friend Alice. The week of Race for Life will be our 9th and final week of the challenge meaning we will hopefully be able to run the whole 5K! I feel this will be a great opportunity to raise money for a very worthwhile cause and every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference!!

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
