My Story

I've lost too many people to cancer and I'm sure we all have and I know there will be more. So I'm doing this for the people I know are suffering, have suffered... the people I've lost and the people I will lose. And everyone in between. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
