My Story
Cancer was always a far away spectre for me, until a couple of years ago. Now several of my loved ones have been affected in some way by cancer and I realise I should never have ignored it for so long. It is inevitable that it will be a part of every single person's life in one way or another. I will walk this 10k Shine Night with my beloved mama in honour of those people and to shine a light in their darkness. Sadly, Flora the pup isn't allowed to attend - she loves to twinkle!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
