To raise money for Cancer Research UK
My Story
In partnership with SP Energy Networks graduate program, myself and seven colleagues will attempt to climb to the top of Scotland's largest peak, Ben Nevis. We got in touch with the John Muir Trust, the charity that is responsible for looking after Ben Nevis, they have expressed their delight that we are also going to be operating a litter pick on the hill. Ben Nevis accommodates 120,000 visitors every year so as you can imagine, it is a mammoth task for the charity themselves manage the impacts themselves. Every 2 minutes a person is diagnosed with cancer in the UK. Every 4 minutes a person in the UK dies from cancer. Cancer Research UK is currently researching better techniques to treat all forms of cancer and with your help we may be able to beat cancer sooner.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
