My Story
Most of us will have our lives affected by cancer at some point - mine certainly has. Research into effective prevention and treatment is vital but requires considerable funding, much of which must unfortunately come from charitable donations. I will be taking part in Cancer Research's "Cycle 300 Miles in September" challenge this month, with a target of raising £300 to support their essential work. Please give whatever you can. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
